Apple Crumble :)

I was bored so I decided to bake something.For some reason,baking makes me calm...weird.I was flipping through numerous cooking books that belonged to my mum,when my eyes caught the word 'Apple Crumble'.I used to have apple crumble for desserts in UK.It taste gooooood ;D So i decided to bake one.


INGREDIENTS:

8 apples

40g butter/margarine
50g sugar
200g all purpose/plain flour
100g butter/margarine

3 tbsps honey

1. Peel the apples and cut into cubes.
2. Heat the 40g of butter/margarine on a frying pan (low fire) and saute* the apples.
3. Add 3 tbsps of honey and stir well.Saute the apples till golden brown and remove from heat.
4. Transfer the apple mixture into a baking dish and allow it to cool at room temperature.
5. To make the crumble,rub 100g of butter/margarine into 200g of all purpose/plain flour.Add 50g of sugar to give a more crumbly texture.
6. Sprinkle the crumbs over the apple mixture.
7. Cook in hot oven (200
°C/400°F/Gas mark 6) for 25 minutes.
8. Serve with custard or cream.

*Fry quickly.
