You stepped two steps down so you were eye-level with me.Then you gazed into my eyes with a frown on your face.
"Im sorry.I cant do this..."You whispered.
I felt my heart crush to a million pieces but I kept on smilling for yoursake.
"Oh,it's okay.I understand"I said,my voice quivering at the end.
You just gazed at me intensely and put you hands inside your pocket.Then you pulled out a tiny card and gave it to me.
"Open it."You told me.
I shook my head and said:
"I'll read it at home."
"No,open it.Now."You insisted.
And so I did.The truth smiled at me and I felt my heart sing.I clamped my mouth shut to stop myself from screaming with delight.On the card,you wrote:
'Would you be my girlfriend?Please? :p'
